Pelican LED 7060
on: February 16, 2008, 11:00:15 PM
I watched the video on this light and it looks like a decent flashlight. I really don't like how on countrycomm the beamshots comparing the 7060 to the Streamlight are unfair. I own the Stinger and Ultrastinger and the beam is not that yellow-so the battery is not charged fully! But I think I may purchase one of these when they are in stock again...

I just got a Pelican pricelist last week.

That badboy looks like a damn club.

I'm torn when it comes to large lights.

They have their use, but that use is somewhat diminished if it's too big to easily carry and it gets left in the Lockbox.

I was actually looking at the light also. Seems to be well thought out with the 2 Dif switches, and the charging system seems to be very quick when compared to the others out ther. I would however wait until someone here spent the cash and reviewed it :D

To be fair to countycomm they probably had the camera on auto settings. A lot of times the camera will make LEDs look whiter than incandescents, even if the latter is pure white to the eyes.

I don't own a 7060, but the reviews I've read are very positive on it's role as a flashlight. Not so good as a club though, which I guess is what one wants with the LAPD and the litigious area they operate in.
