Interesting theory...

While I can't speak for Calvin, I do know a few more things about him than the average person, and so I can say there is likely a good reason he's been away, even if I don't know what it is.

Also, having been on forums as long as I have been, I can also say that folks come and folks go, whenever the time is right for them. If Calvin has indeed moved on as many do, I wish him all the best in whatever he is doing, and want him to know that we'll happily welcome him back when and if he should ever decide to come back.

Nah, Calvin's a good'un. I've had a few PM's with him and I know a bit more about him than the general public does. While I can't go into detail, I know there's a distinct possibility that his work may keep him from actively posting at certain times.

Even if it's not his work that's keeping him from saying anything, folks often move on to other interests. I'm a veteran of forums- been frequenting them since I joined my first one over a decade ago. I've seen folks come and go... some come back, some don't. It's nothing personal, folks just get distracted and move on, or we are the distraction and they go back to their normal world.

As for forums - Eh, I've often found them to be more like high school romances.

Being thought of like that is really cool of you guys. I knew you were good people, that's one of the reasons I had the giveaways!

I've just been whacked out with work and some personal garbage that we all go through every now and then.

I'm back now for better or worse. I won't go away that easily! I was trying to keep an eye on things, but when you start posting you just can't stop. I'm sure you know what I mean.

I've got a few new toys. My Energizer Hard Case Tactical LED flashlight came in and a Buck Extract came to live with me also.

My biggest happening since I've been gone is the addition of some lights and additional electrical outlets for my garage to the tune of $1500. That's right, $1500.

I thought I was going to have a heart attack when he handed me the bill. They are "state of the art" lighting fixtures but jeez Louise that's a lot of coin.

If anyone wants to know about what is going on with me you can always send me a PM. I always answer those.

My favorite guess as to what happened to me is that all my stuff fell on me! That's not stretching it too much, it took me three hours to clean my garage up so the electricians could get to where they needed to work.
