Well, I have two trucks. A 2008 Chevy 2500HD Silverado and a Ford F150.. I am thinking about selling the F150 mainly because it just sits in the driveway really!

I've got a 1989 Chevy pick-up. It's got 160,000 miles on it and runs like crap. The thing literally whistles going down the road from all the rust holes in it. I keep thinking about getting something newer, but then again, this one starts up when I leave each morning, so I decide to wait awhile. Been doing that for the last seven years or so.  :P

Top car is mine, bottom is wife's. The red car in the background in the 1st pic is a broken down Nissan Altima. It's going bye bye soon. The blue car in the second picture is my mother in law's car. It's a Ford Countour.

I have a huge blue Ford E250 cargo van.

It's much too excessive for my driving/work routine but it runs well and is paid for so I haven't been able to convince myself to sell it yet. Basically I haul around empty space to the tune of 10-14 miles to the gallon.  ::)

Nope, it would have a much higher pice tag if it was!

As it is, it only has rust holes.  :P

LOL! I hear ya! I have a Dodge G3500 6.2L diesel van that loves fuel! I also have a 1986 Mercedes 300SDL diesel that I mostly drive unless I have a job requiring the van. Both vehicles have their idiosyncrasies that make them fun to drive but I love my Mercedes the most. Pre-94 Mercedes is the way to go! :)

You really can't argue with that.  There comes a point where an older vehicle is worth much more to its owner than it would be to a perspective buyer.  That's why my '95 Bronco is for sale but has never had a for sale sign in it.

I don't have any pics of my car... it's a 2004 Chrysler Sebring Touring.  Right now though, I'm driving my fiance's car... it's a 2005 Cheverolet Malibu (and a piece of junk)

Here's a pic.  My beater van is in the back.  It's a 1999 Dodge Caravan :)

I wish! No its only the 100, i'd love to get a new one (or just upgrade a few bits) but the wallet says no! There's a great bike shop i have to walk past everytime i go to town and i keep drooling standing outside the window they have some lovely bikes in there, one day i'll have a decent one!

Nothing wrong with the 100, anything more expensive will probably be too fragile to use all the time :)

I like the 100, and you've made some practical mods too :)

This is true, it has stood up to a fair bit of abuse. And it's fairly comfortable, just need a slightly higher stem at the front and it would be set up perfectly. Its still fine to use but i do notice it when i've been on it for a couple of hours. Does need a new front tire on it though, the one thats on has a flat spot on it. Gets annoying on really smooth roads (but there's not that many round where i live!!)

I know what your saying about smooth roads (or the lack of them ::)) I run schwable marathons at just under 100psi, and in a 20inch wheel, so there not much to absorb the bumps :D

Wiggle had some good deals on 700 tyres a while back, I cant remember what ones I got for my tourer though (26inch)

Thanks.  I wish I could have taken a picture of the R1000 in the sun.  It has a very nice shade (shades?) of Chromeillusion paint.

Here's mine. Gas mileage, ride quality, cargo space, handling, and pretty much anything can be described as craptacular, but I still love it nonetheless.  :D
