Looking for a nice "clean" light?

My wife ran my Gerber Infinity Ultra through the wash with my uniform pants and it came out the other side without a problem!  Water resistance tests don't come much more conclusive than that!

I'm just wondering what light to give her to wash next....

I've sent a number of Fenix lights through the same torture.  There was never a bit of water intrustion, and they came out clean as a whistle.

I had a Motorola T-120 cell phone that went through the wash twice, and fell in a river once.  Each time this would happen, I would remove the battery, disassemble it as far as I could, and put it in my oven at 120 degrees F for about 8 hours.

It worked every time.

I have the worst luck with cell phones, not because I'm careless (ear piece don't count) but
they never work right for me, from defective units to batteries always going low and I hardly use it!
I've been threw so many(mainly razors)

I should listen to her, she gets em good! hers perform and last great.

Dont get a Surefire , the Knurling an HA3 will kill yr dryer .

That has been my experience.  I don't use them every day--they are the lights that are stashed in PSKs and BOBs.  The older CMG design that were the predecessors to the current Gerber model were even more durable.

I got an old one out a few weeks ago that worried me a bit.  It was flickering, and I had to slap it against my had to get it to stay on.  I unscrewed the tail and wiped off the contact area on the spring and battery and it was good as new.
