What will I get in return?

I'm sending in a old GAK (111 mm with green scales) to Vic for repair/replacement. So what will I get back? A new one, rebuilt old one? Let's see what happens???

to me. So the first part of what I wrote below does not apply:

Because some people think these are so ugly, me thinks that Vic may decide to beautify a bit the SAK experience for you the customer and chose to replace it with a new Spartan in translucent scales

Now, seriously, let us know what will happen and if you can, please post pictures before and after. By the way, what was wrong with it?

I've never sent anything back to Vic.

A little update. I received an email from them saying "$5 processing fee" so I called and gave them the money. Now the wait.

I called them and paid them though the phone. Now I just wonder what will I be getting, a new one or a fixed one

Bump. Just got an email from vic stating that the knife will be replaced by the same model. So it's on it's way
