I'd not get all fixed blades, folders, SAKs, multitools, machettes and axes all in one shot anyway. Just getting the MT's including pliers and knife based will be tough enough ... and might take some time to round up  :dwts:

If it's frequent users that would be a lot easier  :P

....

....  :dwts:

.... I've run out of hands  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

I just made a rough list during a late lunch of the tools I carry or are stowed in places ready for use such as in the car/boat/office/pre-made-combos, and .... scary number ..... very scary number ... and that's not counting the ones that are dormant/donors/awaiting tweaks, mods or repairs

I almost wish you'd not started this thread Allan, I didn't realise how bad this had got

For every day use on the belt and in my pocket I take my wave with accessories and my Kershaw 1670BKL.  I have a brown molle sheath I use when I carry the wave's extras, it's got the room for them.

For my key chain I carry my LM micra.

top row, L-R: MP600 mod, MP600 pro scout blunt nose, MP450, MP400 mod, Octane, Dime, Spirit X, Mini-mate.
Middle row, L-R: Supertool 200, Wave, Fuse mod, Kick mod, Pulse, PST II mod, PST mod.
Bottom row L-R: Juice Cs2, Style PS, Style SC, Micra, blue Micra, Squirt PS4, Squirt P4.

I do own a few others that are technically users, but they have been used so infrequently recently they really don't count any more as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks mate  :salute: I'm far more enamoured with what works than with current trends or the value/rarity of tools, and very often it's the stuff from a bygone time that's best in role.

Wenger Swissgrip - a behemoth of a tool. Can be quite unwieldy at times, but at others it's the brute you need to get the job done. SOG Toolclip, beefiest UK Legal tool I've seen. Yeoman, 1970's Outdoorsman, and 84mm Golfer - sublime tools which make better EDC than contemporary models. Core - used it today because it was handy, a very reassuring tool and helped me fashion an aluminium reinforcing strip to repair a broken kitchen drawer. Bear Jaws - non-locking and outboard, the way all tools should be. KF4, the only Juice truly worthy of carry, yet the one they chose to discontinue. Business Tool - bonkers but brilliant. MP700 - one of the best "ignored" tools I own. Firebyrd - should be compulsory at all outdoors events (if you are a smoker and drinker). Gerber Fit - dismissed as a gimmick by many, it does what it should and looks good while doing it.

This is why I don't consider myself a collector even though I have a good "collection". These tools are brilliant in use, and I feel bad owning something that doesn't give me the enjoyment of achieving something that the tools pictured give me. I appreciate a collectors mentality, and I consider I'm that way (to an extent) with knives, but for me the main pleasure is in using these tools as tools. Home grown mods just add to the enjoyment, knowing that X wouldn't have been achieved if you hadn't "built" the tool for the job in the first place  :D

Same here.  Everything in my "collection" has seen use at some point.  Some people may have a problem with me using certain things, like a "collector's edition" pocket knife, but the way I see it it was built to be USED.  Collector value is secondary, if thought about at all.  I just enjoy using the stuff.  :tu:
