Not mine but this Hungarian boy scouts knife is nice: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221102229223
Well now I had to buy it because I figured even though it was over priced, advertising like this just might get the right attention, and he has been selling a few at that price.

I ordered one out to go in my Scouting SAKs subset. National Scout knives are hard to come by. Even when you can find them, most of the time the local Scout shops won't sell them outside the country of origin.

Shown: Swiss, British, Irish, Philippines and (right) Hong Kong. The British knife was the only one I was able to order out (along with some Canadian ones). The Swiss and Irish were picked up on trips to the countries in question, and the other two came from ebay.
That's all true... but I mainly bought because it was GREEN... don't see any scout knives in that color too often... now my red scout collection will finally have some color.  I was hoping the price would drop a bit.  I think he started with 5 though, but maybe my memory is wrong on that.

Green Scout knives are definitely uncommon. However the Canadian Scout knives at one time were green (left).

Picky, Picky.   :twak:

Here's a couple of colored Victorinox Scout knives. The Stayglo Climber is still readily available.

IMHO they should have kept (also) doing Scout SAKs in alox. I guess what we have is what was ordered.

Are there other colors in the old style 93 mm alox scales there than the one below in red?

edit: sorry for posting red alox in a green SAK thread :D

Thread highjacker!  :D

The only alox Scout knife I've seen is the red one you have. However there are a 100 or so Scouting organizations around the world and anything is likely to show up.

Heard from the Dutch Scout shop. They will ship overseas. Only problem is they only take bank transfers, not credit cards or Paypal. Last time I checked my bank charged $50 for an international transfer. So that's out. :-\

I have some translucent green (the package calls it emerald) Victorinox Rogues. Great keychain tool. My Hunter is olive green. I had a green ALOX model, but I forget which one. All of my ALOX knives were stolen, and I really want to replace them.
This is gonna hurt...

Please note that the chain is not included. You need to be a member to get it for free with the SAK.

Thanks for offering!

FYI: In addition to only taking bank transfers, the Dutch Scout shop was going to charge more for the shipping than the cost of the knife. Maybe their way of saying they really didn't want to deal with overseas orders.
