Here is what I did yesterday, acquired the matching armoire to our bedroom set yesterday from my parents. The shelf came out of my old EDC drawer in another dresser and is currently suspended perfectly in place. I'll attach it more permanently if I keep things this way, still trying this out & contemplating use of a different drawer.

Top shelf has the flashlights, large hunting knives, (Buck 110 & Vangard), camera, spare cell phone & some sheathes.

Bottom has all my folding knives, pocket/keychain tools, pens and multis, with the exception of the Charge that stays in my bag in the car. Hanging on the sides are sunglasses & keys.

I found this little five drawer setup today at Walmart for a whopping $5!  I need to get some foam or something to line it with, but it's a nice size to keep my regulars in so I'm not scrambling around trying to find stuff I want to carry, as is my current system.  :)

There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D

Looks great jerseydevil! I too since the last pic have moved to a drawer, but I need some of the foam/spongy shelf liners to keep every thing in place. Pics will follow once everything is organized.

But ..... that's like only having one pair of shoes, or one jacket, or one pair of underwear  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

For me having different tool sets for different days/locations/scenarios is no different to having different clothing for different weather. Besides if I only had one set up I'd break it, lose it, or just get plain bored with it  :D I currently have two tools missing in action, and two more are broken awaiting sending off for warranty replacement, but it doesn't matter  - I've still got it covered  ;) :D :D :D

Took everything out of the cubby hole it was in earlier in this thread and changed it to the drawer below. This is the stuff in and out of my pockets on different occasions, the only stuff not pictured are my keys which are hanging above, and my full size Leatherman tools that are in the vehicles & bag that they stay in. Tried it for a couple weeks without the shelf lining pad but stuff was sliding everywhere, went and picked up a roll today at Target and everything stays put much better through opening & closing of the drawer.

I'm still using my box with styrofoam for my EDC gadgets but the SAK box fell apart on me. It lasted a year though so not bad. I'll need to think of something more durable though. (old pics)

Nice collection and even better organization. Me thinks one could use a Pelican case to do this as well but it would be quite expensive if you have many MTs like this. The Pelican case that you can pull out the foam to form fit for each MT would be what I'm thinking of doing. I was going to do that for my camera equipment but chickened out due to the expense and fear of ruining the foam if I pulled too much out.

Okay.... I'm not sure I got the VERY point of this topic.. I hope that counts :D

That's just part of the EDC stuff I have which I might grab sth. from on a day to day basis... Otherwise I have more tiny toys here and there (Fenix E01 & Squirt PS4 on my keys; another Squirt PS4 and a flashlight in the BOB; a couple of flashlights for... family-member use.. lol; and some other stuff that hardly leaves my purse/bag and is always there and doesn't... "rotate" :D)
