How Old Is My PST?
« on: May 04, 2016, 01:50:49 AM »
Forgive me if this is in the wrong spot, but I need help dating my newest PST.
I have a '95 PST and here are the differences. The new PST has:
-can opener sharpened on other side
-no date code
-inch only ruler, slightly bigger font
-slightly more squared plier head
-more of a SAK shaped blade
-REG'D TM 1325473 LEATHERMAN TOOL PORTLAND OR
-plier and blade stamped Leatherman USA.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

Thanks! The only thing is that the ruler is still only inch, no cm. Is there a chance this was produced mid-change?

Since it is inches only and has the REG’D TM 1325473 on it, it is a transition PST from 87 or 88 probably but that is just a guess :tu: On the PST Chronological Timeline it is between a 6 and a 7 if that helps any

It is as rare as any other PST from that time :tu: I am not sure of a value but with so many variations of the PST from that time period it is hard to say ;)
