Was looking around the net and found this. I'm not sold on the idea, but just want to know what everyone thinks. Looks like it would be a bit uncomfortable to carry in a pocket especially if it was on a key ring.

Cap,

I saw this too, and am intrigued but not fully sold.

To me, it will depend on price.

$5  yep, gonna grab a few!  :gimme:

$20  ahhh, nope,
If I can help, let me know

Don't tell me that's a bottle opener in the middle! I'm pretty sure some MTO people have like 5 on them at once. Even the Wenger quench (belt) has a bottle opener on the buckle.

Just to be clear that wasn't a rant, I have no anger or frustration :)

I agree with your pricing. I would buy one for $5.  :tu:

Here is another one I think is from the same person. Maybe not though.

Can't say I really like the ergonomics on the ring tool, or the layout.

The atom looks interesting but it's too late to jump on that train. :P

Wasn't the creator of that tool spamming it in the Keychain & One Piece Tools forum earlier?

They both were. Both linked items here belong to people who spammed here in the last few months.

There already is a Ring Tool out on the market.  I guess he was too busy spamming to do any research.   ::)

Also, it looks very much like a tool that Tofty designed some time ago.

If it's useful it's useful.  The fact that he's a spammer shouldn't matter.

Even if it does bug the crap out of me.

it matters to me,  I work in the Cyber security field, and I deal with it every day!

But that is my choice, I would not frown on others who think otherwise

Yeah, it bugs the crap out of me too, but a loose screw is a loose screw, and if it needs tightening, or a bottle needs opening it doesn't much matter what name is on the side of the tool.

For the record, I won't be getting either of these either.

Trust me, I'd like nothing more than to string the guy up, but I imagine a similar discussion was happening in Portland about twenty five years ago.  We don't have to support him, but we don't have to hinder him either.
