Jammy was my knick name at school, It's a slightly phonetic version of my real name. the BStard comes from the new statesman (unless you were in the uk in the 1980s that might be lost on you.

I don't know why, but when I see "Jammybstard" I think of someone who has a lot of undeserved good fortune (ie through good luck, not hard work or skill).  Not saying that applies to you of course.

yep, vegetarian alright. I am more of a catfish type however...

mine came from an old Final Fantasy forum, Ragnarok. A end-of-game sword. However, cool sounding names are hard to come by and are usually taken. At that forum I remember giving out something to a colegue and at a chat room he said that he now had on of those thanks to El Rago. the name stuck and I am glad, as I am yet to see any forum that has it.

I made mine up when I was 12 back in 1980 (I liked football and was one of the faster kids) .. Then it went to crap in 84 when they decided to give my name to a transformer character... So now that's all I hear now... Stupid little robots...  :)

mine comes from the first 111mm SAK I bought. the trailmaster (trekker). I had wanted this knife a lot and it made for a convenient user name. I carried it quite a lot, however in a moment of downsizing and making things simpler I sold it. by then I had several OH 111mm models but was beginning to see that a climber can do all the things I want and it less bulky. so 111mm models in my collection were reduced radically. I never carried one again and only the new Soldier, a couple of Bundeswehr OHT and a rescue tool which has great sentimental value have remained. I have played a bit with the idea of getting a new Soldier to carry to the woods, but I cannot justify it.

i had one in my old 280 gallon tank in 1995. He was huge! Raised him from a fry. He freaked out one night ( they are very flighty fish) and jumped out of the tank. I heard the crash and got him back into the tank but the impact of jumping plus stress caused him to expire.

multi-multitool

When I first read that I thought you meant you had multiple multitools, then I thought a bit more and realized what you meant.  But as you are on this forum you almost certainly do have more than one multitool :multi:  :multi:  :multi:  :multi:  :multi:   :D

Haven't been around on this forum in a while, other than doing a little lurking here and ther, but here goes.

Mine comes from the fact that I've always been into working on cars and trucks and I have always especially liked Diesel trucks. I have one now, and suspect that I always will.

The first forum that I joined was a Diesel truck forum so I wanted to sort of chose an appropriate name. A company that makes high quality diesel add on parts in California is called Banks Power or Banks Diesel or whatever. Well, when I started going onto forums when I was 15 or 16 or so, the website used to be getpower.com or whatever. Now its just bankspower.com.

I have always kept it going through pretty much all of the forums that I lurk around in.

Now guess where my avatar came from...
