They are selling a SwissTech set for only $9.00   :o :o , it includes the Utility Key 6 in 1, the Smart Clip Ultra, and the Screws-All 4-1, got a couple of them, could not pass the deal.

What do you think?

I can't enjoy promos like this. The postage will cost more than the cost of the items.

You people know that these are not made in Switzerland, right? I don't even think it's a Swiss company. These ain't no Victorinox.

It's a Swiss designer that emigrated to the US... or so the story goes anyway.

If anyone should be near a Costco, and would be willing to pick up an extra set, I'd be mighty appreciative! :D

$9 for the set is real good.  I think my wife paid £10 just for my Utilikey! :o  Mind you she did buy from an expensive UK store.

Just my opinion of course, but the UtiliKey and the Screws-All are the real attraction in this deal. The Smart Clip just isn't built strong enough as far as I'm concerned. :-\

I have a couple utilikeys from previous package deals at Costco.   This one actually seems good.

The other one had a brick of a little keyfob tool and a windshield breaker/siren/led thingie that is collecting dust in my drawer.

I might be going to Costco soon.   I'll grab a couple extras.

Well thanks to Guillermo I have a set on the way! :D

I can't wait to play with the clipper and compare it to my trusty SwissClipper!

This is a little off topic, but can anyone tell me how much thicker a SwissClipper is compared to a regular Vic classic? I'm wondering if it is too bulky for a key chain. Great if anyone has dimensions in mm or a comparison pic.

The swiss clipper is almost double.   About 10mm for the classic and 18 for the swissclipper.

Target near me (and probably the one near you, too) has a clearance sale on Swiss+Tech tools.  They are located in the automobile products aisle.

I just bought the SmartClip Ultra from REI.  I'm really disappointed with this tool.  The nail clipper is the single worst I have ever used.  You don't so much cut your nails with this implement as clamp and rip them.  The cutting blades are extremely dull and I have 99 cent clippers that work 10 times better.  The clipper lever release is very difficult to move, as is the switch for the light.  The other functions, including the knife and scissors are only OK.
:twak:

On the other hand, I own and like both the Swiss-Tech Utility Key (very handy!) and the Screws All.  Both of them are light, handy, and inexpensive.
