Finally my squad of Soldiers is complete

I have wanted a 71 Soldier for ages & a number of weeks ago I finally nabbed a 71  8) 8). Recently I also achieved a long wanted goal & I got a 98 Wenger Soldier/SI.
So I have my birth year SAK & both my boys will one day own their own birth year SAKs.
The 98 took a few years to nab , so my Soldier quest is now done  8) :D.

Congrats Mat, lovely bunch :D

I didn't realise the Vic and Wengers ones looked the same - especially love the bails.

Nice score on getting the 71.  Ive been after a 73 for awhile now.  I missed out on an abused one on ebay, that's the closest ive been so far.

INteresting how the Wenger's blades don't open as far as the Vic's.  Never noticed that before.  Off to check mine.

The young uns I've got knives stashed away for aren't even walking yet. I didn't want to get them a 111mm soldier - it'll probably be a hanging offence to carry one here by the time they're old enough to get them  :P so I went for MFVs and a Wenger Junior. I've given up on the '73 for myself as it would just sit in a drawer somewhere, but you can guarantee if I ever saw one I'd be chomping at the bit for it  :D
