So, we were picking through old woodworking equipment at a sale today...

...and my wife came up with this little gem.  Camillus TL-29 electricians/utility knife.  Apparently lots issued to the military.  Camillus cutlery filed for bankruptcy in 2006, another victim of cheap Asian imports.  Much of their work was military oriented historically.  More recently they made knives for other brand names, (Craftsman among others).









I'm curious if there's any way to figure out the date of manufacture based on any of the markings on the blades.  :think:

Hey my dad has 3 or 4 of those from his days in the Marines (1970-78). He said they were issued brand new so those dates might help a little.
