0.8461.MWCH.R2; Mystery solved
on: October 24, 2012, 10:00:11 PM
Just had a reply from Victorinox over who this knife was built for!!

Dear Mr. D,

Thank you very much for your patience. I am very sorry for my late response.

The knife is a special production for the General POLICE Force of Malaysia.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,

Victorinox AG

Interesting with this knife it only seems to be for sale on Brazilian websites? I wonder if the Malaysian Police didn't want it? It doesn't have the Malaysian Police logo but has the Swiss Cross; Malaysia is mainly a Muslim country? Also the Malaysian Police General Operating Force use to wear a 4 pattern BLUE lizard print camoflague uniform; now they have gone to a Subdued Woodland pattern....so the knife camoflague design is now out of date....another reason for getting rid of it?

Whoever its for, that is one crazy camo pattern (and colors)!
If the trees blew down the wind and no one was around, would the alphabet song really go backwards?

I have never see this camo pattern. Very unique.
I am always surprised with the different variations of the Victorinox knives.
No matter how many years i collect Swiss knives, they will always pop up a variation of a model that i doesn't know.
That (along with the quality) is the things that i like in the Swiss knives.

I believe to remember that Swissbianco ordered a small quantity of this knife a year or two ago  for a seller in Brazil.

Probably the Victorinox lady confused it with this one...
