Comparative Multitool Weight Chart updated
on: March 09, 2008, 08:53:47 PM
Not only have I updated it with numerous new models, but I have also moved it to the Multitool Encyclopedia:

New Comparative Multitool Weight Chart

Old Comparative Multitool Weight Chart

I'll keep them both up for the time being- if you see any mistakes on either of them, please let me know and I'll see about fixing them.  Of course, any registered member can also edit the Wiki, so feel free to edit anything you see that's out of place.

Remember though, that these are weights of actual tools I have or have had in my possession and may not reflect the official weights provided my manufacturers.

Some, like the Charge models are a little off the actual carry weight simply because I added in all the goodies, including both the lanyard ring and the pocket clip even though you could only carry one or the other.  I figured the tiny pieces of metal weren't heavy enough to make much of a difference, so I weighed them all together.

Thanks, Def.

I noticed that TTi and AL are not in the chart.

Yeah, I don't have a TTi to weigh unfortunately.  And, my Ti isn't back from visiting my friend the bartender yet, so I couldn't add it either.

I'm sure I have others as well that I've missed, and of course there are many others that I don't own yet.
