Not a HAM here although I was close to getting my license a number of years ago.

My older brother was WA7ZWP, my younger brother WB7WFN (later he was allowed to drop to W7WFN).

Me?  I never really mastered Morris code.  :D

That's new.  Used to be you had to send and receive so many words/minute (5 characters/word). 

HC, they were Hams back in the early to mid 70's.   :pok:

Ham Instructor / VE here,

You actually do not need CW (Morse Code) for any level of license anymore.  It was dropped entirely a couple years ago.

I understand teh use of code. But the whole thing was just something I could never get. At least now I get to upgrade and play in 10 meter
