Well I asked my Dad for his Flair and guess what he and my Mom came by yesterday and guess what he            brought ? ...................   The suspense is killing you am I right :P He brought me his Flair so there is another 1 off my list :) I have admired this tool for a while ::) Guess he finally noticed :D

Wow that's great. Those are the best kind, free and sentimental value too.

Congratulations Poncho!  The Flair may not be the most useful tool out there, but it certainly is one of the more interesting ones.

Of course, you have to remember that it's bad luck to give a knife for free- give your father a nice SAK in exchange and you'll make everyone happy!

True they say a knife will cut the relationship be it friend or family if it is given free, am I right?  He does need something I guess  but he isn't a SAK man at all :( that's why I got his LM he just doesn't carry anything but a 3 or 4 blade knife and he has a lot of them.  I'll have to think of something. :salute:

Owe by the way does the mini screwdriver for the corkscrew of an SAK work for the corkscrew on the Flair ??? I mdon't have 1 to see but if it does I'll prob get 1 :D

Nope! Just tried it for you Poncho and the Flair's corkscrew has a much smaller diameter than the one on my Swisschamp. This means that you can't screw the driver in more than about half a turn, and then the corkscrew won't close.

The small driver on the flair is pretty small though, so I'm not sure there's much advantage to attaching the mini SAK driver anyway.

Just as an interesting aside - the SAK driver fits the Juice though!

I used to come here a lot.

I'm trying to be polite... what I meant to say is "Since I provide this site for the enjoyment of everyone here, you should just send it to me as a thank you" but that might come off as me being a complete sh*thead! :P

No problem- I was just kidding about that!  I wish I was a big enough jackass to pull something like that, but I'd never be able to enjoy an item that I got that way!

if I had a MT or SAK that was unique I'd send it to Def or trade with him (he's got great trading fodder!)
because who in the big blue marble appreciates and likes them more than him?! (hello these sites)

and he's a pretty nice guy :P

or you could hand it over to me!~ but (my best Cheech Maron voice) "man I thought we were buddies...."

If the fork had been an awl or chisel/scraper and the pate spreader had been a smaller knife blade, saw or file it would have been a very good tool :D

Ponch that their is MT treason talk :P , if it had a awl, chisel,2nd blade & saw or file then it would be like any other MT. As it is the Flair is one crazy little MT , that probably cost one or two people their jobs at LM. It truely is a bonkers unique MT , it is the Mr Bean of MT's useless but so loverable. It is a quest of mine to find a use for each implement on the Flair. Stay posted  :o . I am so glade I snagged a NIB one, I reckon they are going to be tough to snaffle down the track.
