My first Executive arrived today. Saw this a few days ago and, on yet another another SAK impulse buy, snapped it up.

Customised solid copper scales on a new SAK with brass pins.
Should hopefully develop a decent unique patina over time.
This one is definitely going to be one of my watch pocket EDC's (watch out MiniChamp!).

(This Brit now has an excuse to hunt down and watch an episode of MacGyver  :D )

Grunthos, how does the knife look these days?

My Mods: 58mm Workshop, 91mm Picnicker, CyberCompact

Some Fav's: 74mm's in general, Salesman, Pocket Tool Chest, MiniChamp, CyberTool 34/M, Compact
Likely to pick up soon:  Cheese Master, something with a pruner blade
Always keeping an eye out:  stainless with guilloche, interesting inlay logos
If I had a few extra hundred $:  91mm with long file, Wine Master

Early days yet, slowly developing a patina (and a few scratches! - soft metal).
Promise I'll post a few more photos in the fullness of time  ;)

My Ex

This life is merely a staging ground for eternity. Are you preparing for the rest of forever?

Just got my first 74mm…Ambassador!

One of my favorite SAKs!    :like:

I seriously think the Ambassador is an underrated SAK. Maybe the most underrated SAK ever. And now it is discontinued.

It does really look and feel like it’s about the right size. Hits that sweet spot like the Cadet and the  84mms hit as well. The 58mm is freaking small for a man to even handle, and the 91 & 93mm with more than 2/3 layers start getting to be a bit much in the  pocket…. Definitely a sweet spot b/w 74/84mm!
