Orange peelers:
Executive and Minichamp
Any other uses other than... peeling oranges and similar citrics?

The one on the Executive has a screwdriver on it, and it's also very good at opening up your thumb when you need to!

Oh yeah! The first time I ever demonstrated how sharp the orange peeler on my Executive was I cut my thumb pretty darn deep.

The one on the Minichamp was originally not intended to be an orange peeler.  That blade is actually called the "cut & picker blade w/scraper".  It works very well as a scraper, to scrape surfaces like you would w/a chisel.  It is also very good at zipping open clamshell packages when used like a gut hook.

my first post at BF a couple years ago was about orange peelers and how good they are for striping the bark off limbs!
One guy said; "this is blade forums, not peeler forums!" I replied; "isn't a peeler a form of a knife?" he recanted :D try it

how about it Micky. one thing I've learned about multimedia is it can be cold and seem hard sometimes
I try and remember people don't mean to be that way most times, it's just we can't hear and see the actual intent,
which is often humor and silliness.

I'm a goof and tease (nooo!) and I'm sure I come across as a bastid once in awhile!  :twak:
but I never mean it that way. a grain/poke of salt bro

Your right, it's true that it's easy not to pick up on a person's true meaning in a post, especially if they don't use smileys/emoctions, but it just seems the whole ''shoot down the newb'' ethos is prevelant on BF, when I joined years ago, I managed to start a flamewar with a totally inocent comment, but some jerk was just out for my blood >:(, I gave as good as I got, but then his cronies joined in too, so I left BF that day and haven't been back since!

My niece loves happy bunny.     :D     Funny how theres a BF in BarF, huh??     Sorry, jut an observation.....

Its funny how many different aplications Victorinox can assign to a blade (all valid of course)

The one in the bottom of the picture at the beginning of the thread is also on the Pharmacy knife and is used to break the wrap on the drug bottles.

LOL what are the chances, that's basically my experience at BF, but one of the cronies was a mod and he started threaten to ban me, and give me various (BS) warnings.
