Dang! I wish I had your setup. Spectacular as usual metro!
Very nice Metro!¡! I saw some of these images on Flickr and was thinking, what is he up to now?¿?
That's sweet! I see you have you things up and running again . Glad to see the master multi modder back in action
is there less play in the aftermarket jigsaw blades?
beautifully done, as usual! I can't believe you got the BE to fit in a Charge... very impressive. and the OHO is a nice touch too. I really like the 90-degree locking notch on the bit driver as well -- might have to give that a shot. have you had a chance to give it a workout yet?
.... I wish Leatherman would send me parts...

I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of the people at LM wished you'd stop doing all these different mods as it means they can no longer say "It simply can't be done" as you've showed that it can (and was). Mind you, the marketing bods are probably all over this site, garnering ideas Keep up the good work, you inspire us all

BTW, did you hear back from LM on that job application? They're really missing out if not.

I got a very unceremonious and kind of kurt email from them "this position has been filled".It's alright, not sure if I could be keen on moving to Portlandia
To tell the truth, I'm not nor have I been a very big fan of Leatherman for a while. I see genius mods like yours being proven in design yet no interest from them in improving their product - and this is nothing new. Some of this stuff is obvious, yet LM keeps on doing its own thing and if you don't like it - here's the finger to ya.That aside, you've done some spectacular work there, very impressive, and it would be a shame if some company didn't hire your creativity.
Well they missed out! They would have had a great engineer and their sales would have went way up. No matter we have you and they can go........you can fill in the blank
whats going to keep the ferro rod in place?
I asked about a wave file prybar awhile back, the general consensus was that it was the wrong kind of steel, maybe the surge file is different, regardless, great mod. I want to try the ferro thing on my wave, where did you get the ferro rod?
"I didn't want to fire up SolidWorks...most because this is an extruded shape, but I also didn't want to get into 3D modelling hell."clearly you haven't used autocad in 3D, now THATS hell
