And (last but certainly not least) my poor beater Kick lives in this cow-dirt covered sheath hanging from my farm jeans. It has a clip, but I keep it in the sheath so that it won't ever end up in the cow barn gutter. (I'd sooner part with it than dig it out of there!) And I thought I abused this tool when I did construction...

I think the only difference between a tackle and tool box is the tackle box costs 20% more!

Whew, then I must have gotten the tool box... This was about the cheapest box I could find at Lowes! ::) :D I'd hate to be storing tools where tackles are suposed to be. :P

I dunno, you should see how well fish bite on a Climber!  Or, if you use a Fisherman or Angler model SAK, they are already cleaned by the time you reel them in!

Sometimes my pockets, or a tool pouch hanging off my belt. But generally, the Swisstool RS in my 1993 Ford Ranger, the Spirit S in my 2000 Dodge Ram, my wife's 1995 Volvo gets nothing ...... MUWAHAHAHA! For my wrenches, sockets, etc, I have about 4 tool boxes that get moved around to different projects I'm working on along with my garage that houses stuff like my power tools.

I have pocket knives, mostly SAK's in drawers all over the place along as in my trucks. My wife's Volvo actually gets a SAK (but nothing else).

Put it this way, I'm probably never more than a foot or two away from a tool of some sort when I'm at home. And I always have a SAK in my pocket, always.

Guess I should have just said everywhere. LOL!

Actually to be honest, unless you're buck naked standing in a field, you have tools all around you and on you.
I was walking my dog a couple months ago and started counting how many "tools" I carry, and how many of them I couldn't live without.

Example: clothes are tools to shield you from climate and conform to social norms; shoes explain themselves, a belt keeps your pants from falling and if you're like me is occasionally used to help haul a heavy object; glasses, even a dog leash.

But back on the subject, I have tools all over the place, in two states. Many are strategically placed (ever seen the second season of Rome? :D) but many are also in the wrong place and/or state. Often my tools are so strategically placed that I can no longer find them. I suppose however that that might be a good strategy, because afterall what better way to convince the wife that a game can be watched than to not be able to find the appropriate tool for a job?
