I got it pretty recently. I spotted it at the top of the thread and was pretty sure it was the one I picked up. Had to dig it up to double check!  Markings were pretty distinct. It's a well-travelled knife by now...I gotta wonder where else it's been!

You're welcome and thanks for confirmation and the additional pics to enjoy!   :hatsoff:  It's good practice to be able to date a knife with the tools closed and from a single shot like that.  :cheers:

By a pure strike of luck this beauty found it's path to me. 3 days of sanding and small repairs, and the oiling still ongoing.
 The scissor gave me most of the headackes but i made them work again, and it's a pleasure to use it.
The horn scales are my first and i have to admit it was a little trial and error and i did made some mistakes during sanding/buffing
