Power outage so the electric can opener out of service. SAK can opener rescued the bean salad  :salute:

Scissors on the Super Tinker to cut strings to take outdoor holiday decorations down also also cut string on new pajama pants that came loose.

Thanks, Adam. I’ve been using both of mine quite a lot more than I imagined. It’s a great little tool.

I could also use a destapler but then... where is the fun!?  :D

Like when cutting bad leafs. It is funnier to do it with the SAK scisors, isnt it?

Lots of swisschamp use today that was unexpected to say the least.

A closet door fell off and the screwdriver helped remedy that. Our house is falling apart so that was kind of expected.

Pliers got some various use moving a hot toaster oven rack mid cook and pulled a stuck kitchen drain plug out.

Then, took a trip to harbor freight to take a look at a tool chest and used the fish scaler to measure small drawer height. Couldn’t get it as they were out of stock.

The fish scaler then got some very unglamorous use along with the cap lifter, small screwdriver, and mag lens to clean dog mess out of our shoes.

Oh, and the pliers retrieved a diaper cream applicator from under the changing table.

I would definitely have cut and used a twig and NOT my pocketknife, I'll tell you right now.

I broke the firefly trying to be ambitious with the tinder, but still ended up getting things going. These things would be highly stressful if they were your only chance at fire in a survival situation.

I bought a new car battery, and I used the large flat screw driver on my Climber to pop off the little plastic covers that were on the battery  terminals when I was installing it.

Sadly I forgot to take a picture

Awlso battery related.

I used the combo tool on the Compact to prise open a smoke detector to replace the back-up battery.

I didn't think 9v batteries were a thing anymore & only managed to find a single one after visiting several stores  ::)

They're still somewhat readily available in the States. I stocked up on them when I thought I'd collect old transistor radios. That plan rapidly went by the wayside, so I now have way to large a supply of 9Vs.

One to four layers of SAK is (usually) best for me.
