So the wind was pretty bad here yesterday and broke a bunch of branches on the big pine in my yard. Climbed up to dislodge the ones hung up in the tree. A couple needed persuasion so it was my Fieldmaster to the rescue.

Mazel tov!  You should have used a SAK to cut the cord, too!

Thank you everyone! This is our third and the joy of bringing a new one home never gets old! The thought of cutting the cord with my SAK went through my mind but I'd venture to guess the Super Tinker I had in my pocket at the time would not have met their sterile expectations! haha. Momma and baby both share the middle name "Rose" so it only made sense to order a little Classic SD with a rose on the scale from Swiss Knife Shop for both of them.

The pioneer is still (and will likely always be) my edc, but the last few days after work I’ve been playin with the rescaled troubleshooter.

This evening I used the small blade to ream my pipe before a bowl of Petersons Balkan mixture.

Good stuff! I used to smoke a pipe, and perhaps someday I'll return to it.

Used the saw and the small blade in the SwissChamp to cut a long wood stick and remove some harsh edges for my child to play with. Did a little bit of rounding in the tips and engraved the initial of her name. She loved it.

Later the small scissors in the MiniChamp were handy to cut a loose thread from her dress (happens so many times, that we take it for granted).
