Tourist, giving a hand tightening the coffee machine outlet, that's always getting loose

I was at the office today at the new job (it's a hybrid situation so I'm not there every day). A co-worker had a Coke in a glass bottle from the Mexican restaurant a few blocks away and she was struggling with the cap.

I thought they were mostly twist off these days. She thought so too. The cap was marked as being twist off but it wouldn't budge. So out came the bottle opener on my Hiker and popped the top.

Guess what? The bottle opening wasn't threaded at all. A twist off marked cap apparently got put on a bottle that was made for a traditional cap by mistake.  :dunno:

Is she cute, Marlowe?  Did she bat her eyelashes at you when you whisked out your big, red, hero Camper and rescued her?  Gosh, I wish I had been there.  You dog.

Just used the custom compact, used it to cut the end off of a hockey stick to turn it into a hiking staff, they work great, now time to sand it down and stain it, then wrap the handle with paracord, I already have two made this way, but hey, when you live across the street from a hockey rink and they break the ends off of the stick and toss them you might as well use them,, :dunno: here’s a pic of one I did before, of course the dogs gotta check it out..

Used the Soldier to bend some of those silly tabs on the back of picture frames today.

My wife tried using her fingers at first, and then said “I need your knife or something!”. Before she could even finish the sentence I had jumped into action and deployed the Soldier’s flat head driver; A bit overkill, but I saved the day nonetheless  :salute:

Or they just filled an empty Coke bottle with some local brand and re-capped it.

Used my Swisschamp saw to cut a tree root... unfortunately no pics, but it did well! Cleaned the sap of and the blade is as good as new.

Summer squash, my favorite.  Horse radish, not my favorite but a nice photo anyway.  First class.  Best wishes.  G
