Just used the Can Opener from my Wenger Evogrip to open a Can in our Kitchen,
Its the original Wenger Can Opener, now Delemont Kolektion EVO

It was the First Time i used a Swiss Army Knife  Can Opener, so i ditnt know how this works whit a Victorinox SOK  Can Opener
It works whit the Wenger, so i think i would Survive Outdoor if i find a Can..
But mybe in the Kitchen, i would prefer a normal Can Opener..

But for a Wenger Opener, and my first time i used this tool, i think the Open isnt bad..
Your SAK is only fully yours, when it bites you, or you opend a Trink of your joice whit it
SAKs i have: Huntsman Light (Red Transparent), Workchamp (Black), Wenger EvoGrip S557 (Red), Swisschamp XLT (Red Transparent).. Swisschamp (Blue Transparent) Cybertool L (Blue Celidor (custom scales) , Huntsman (Black Celidor) , Victorinox EvoGrip S557 (Red, but sadly lost in my house somewhere) Victorinox Delemont S17 and S57 ..  , waiting for: Swiza D09 Blue

Once you get used to them, you will be surpised how fast you can open a can with a SAK can opener.
Wow, that's a lot of cans.

Compact got a workout last night. Snipping threads, threading straps, cutting foam sleeping pads and other general chores to prepare for fall camping/hiking.

Used the can opener on my Damascus Explorer to open a can of New England Cam Chowder, what a treat. Oh, and the can opener worked like a charm (haven't used one in ages, have forgotten how good it is).

Haha, nice one :tu:  I'm surprised by how well it actually works, as long as there's not much in the way at least.  At the very least, you can make partial turns and repeat until finished.  Like the name "Monrogue Maneuver" too, although I doubt I'm the first to discover this

Opened my can of Bush's Baked Beans for lunch, the bottle opener to open a can of paint to check the color and blade to open some boxes.  All of this heroic work was done by my OC red Pioneer. :D

Teaching a course this week.
There was a flip chart in the room where the flip chart paper had been badly torn off and I could not flip the paper properly!

So out popped my trusty SAK (Vic Compact -for work suit pocket) to trim off the paper neatly. It worked beautifully of course.  :climber:

It got quite a reaction from my  students (- It's an adult class) - Not quite sure if they were impressed or shocked ('Aarrgh? he has a knife!!') or a mixture of both. I think mainly impressed  :)

Someone possibly spotted the corkscrew or maybe just the red SAK - as he called out - 'Is that corkscrew for your bottle of wine this evening?'. ..'Of course'  :) I replied - even though I was not drinking that night!!

So you see everyone expects a CS on a SAK.

I am helping Grant out with the marketing and promotions for the site.
(My Intro thread: http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,54521.msg947529.html#msg947529 )

I'm really not a collector. I have/use what I like and what helps me out with my activities.
I usually have a Leatherman Freestyle and a Victorinox Silver Tech Climber on me.

For kayaking I wear a Boker canoe/kayak knife.

One of my favourites it my CRKT NIRK knife. It is a lot stronger than it looks. I think it's really quite elegant.

And I am thinking about buying the Gerber Myth for archery- although I am not sold on it yet.
My wish list is really starting to grow.
