Changed burned out back license plate light.
Swisschamp was needed for unscrewing/screwing the license plate holder.
This just made nicer pic than one by the trunk methinks ;)

Also a reason for me to carry a SAK. My dogs have long curly hair and it gets stuck in fences, thorny bushes and so on. Most of the time it is no issue, but one or two times I had to help them out.
... not a Sak but there is a dog grooming 'knife' if I can find it......

Used a small long Phillips on my Work Champ to disassemble and clean my old router. Unscrewed, sound out that there’s not much dust in it and assembled it back

Needed my pioneerX to cut through this amazing wrapping to get to my saguaro, it only took about 15min, the amazing thing is that whole piece of wood only weighs about the same as that sak! It’s amazing,,

Used the toothpick and tweezers to help clean bugs and stuff out of my filthy K&N air filter. Used the Soldier's flat driver to unscrew/screw the hose clamps on the car's intake to remove/install said filter.

Needed the sak screwdriver to open the can of my poly coating for my staff project, so it’s got down to a 340grit smoothness and it’s first coat, next up will be a 600grit and more coats!

sadly, yesterday, I used the pin to pop a bubble in the C19 stand back decals I was installing, very static, very sticky. Learned in the CG when fighting with 3m reflective....

Lunch with the compact. I find the combo tool easier to use than the dedicated can opener on most SAK’s and gives a cleaner result, anyone else?

That can is a bit old isnt it?   :twak:

I find it easier to cut the can on the pull rather than the push ... as you do with the combo tool or the Leatherman can opener.   :tu:

You’re right I’d not checked the date until I saw it in the photo (d’oh)! Contents seemed fine but decided against risking it. Cans were usually good for years past best before date, but read recently that modern canning techniques have changed and that’s not now necessarily the case like it used to be. Remember back in UK as a kid the show Blue Peter on the BBC opening a chocolate tin given to soldiers in WW1 that was still good.
They don’t make them like they used to!

I'd think that its still ok ...  if it looks and smells ok and the can itself hasnt become misshapen from who-knows-what inside.

But anyway... although ergonomically better... I did find the cutting edge of the combo tool to be a bit harder to use.

I have the same engine stand. Different GM block on mine though. At least I believe yours is GM if memory recalls correctly from filter location. Nice looking walking staff your making too!

Weird. I find that combo tool useless. Could hardly open a thick can, and it's too flimsy compared to the regular opener.

I believe it’s some GM’s, it ain’t a Ford, right next to it is a 60 something Monte Carlo, but it’s not the original engine, but now the kid wants to get rid of that engine and bump it up again to a bigger ci..
Thanks on the staff..
