I saw a nice storm brewing behind the mountains and took some pictures (50mm f1.8 ).

Original colour.

Just place the camera on something steady, set the shutter speed for 0.5-1s and use the continuous shooting option... out of the several it will take a few are bound to be ok   :D

Kind of hard to do when we don't get many lightning storms in the first place. I'll try that next time we get a storm that has lightning in it. Someone told me a while back about the lightning trigger that you put on the camera. Not sure how well it works though.

Wow, can't believe I've just noticed these now.   :drool:  Beautiful pics mate!  :tu:  I'd love to get some lightning shots, but we don't get lightning here to often either.

Beautiful photos, special the photo with the lightning is superb.
