You're welcome. The prairies do have a certain charm. I wouldn't mind moving somewhere with foot hills off in the distance.

Well, my entire city is a hill and trust me, it gets old fast- especially in this weather!

I always say I'm in favor of global warming- if the ocean levels rise about 80 feet then I have beachfront property!  :D

I just finished snowblowing my driveway.  In spots, it was about 4-6" higher than the front of my snowblower!  :ahhh  I just bought it last week too, and I'm sure glad I did!  Best $150 I've ever spent!!!

OK, new rule for this thread - people in Texas and Oz are not allowed to post and torture us!  :twak:  :P  Keep those same numbers but in 0F and that's about what we've had the past few weeks.....

The plow is gone by on my street and piled the snow higher than the hood of my VW. 

If I have to go anywhere today it'll have to be in the Jeep, and even getting that out will be an adventure!

This crap fell under three hours, and hadn't stopped since. C'mon, it's february, no need for snow anymore.

Small collection of SAK's, (but growing rapidly. :D) not so fast at this time. :( And the most important of all: Ze Zuper Zoldier by Steve!  :ahhh
Wishlist for 2014: Rangergrip 88, Victorinox: CT41, Spirit X BO CC, Swisstool X BO, Some limited Alox stuffs and so on

Just back from a trip further North in Scotland.  Still had a little snow there and I have to say I'm more than a little bored of the sodding white stuff now, I'm more than ready for a bit of warm and sunshine.

We've been having a little flurry here, but (thankfully) it's been too wet to settle. A quick check on the web shows we might be in for potentially around 200mm on Wednesday though  :-\ Hopefully they've got it all wrong again  :P

Kim's cousin came over and we went sledding in the park across the road this afternoon.  We determined that hills were not that high when we were kids....

We live at the bottom of the hill, so when it's time to come home all we need to do is just slide down the other side.  That's not necessarily as good as it sounds though.  I slid down the hill towards the house, hit the berm left by the plow, sailed several feet in the air before coming down on the road.  It was made worse by the fact that I was laying on my stomach sliding, and now my chest hurts.  I guess 200 pounds hitting the road from a couple foot drop while traveling at about 20mph isn't as sensible as I initially thought!   :whistle:
