Tragic.

I've walked that bridge many times with my wife in the past.

Exactly one year (22nd of march 2016) after the Brussels bombing.
Definitely terrorism.

Hate to say it, but a lone actor is still a terrorist. Then again, what is a terrorist? A murderer who gets special treatment in courts and the media because he claimed to have an agenda. His name and his "cause" are going to get splashed all over the news. Google him a year from now, and bang, there is his 15 days of fame. He shouldn't even be counted among the dead, any more than we bother to count the microbes that die during a plague.

PC Palmer's name won't mean a thing in a week, everyone is going to forget him- hell, most people will read the name in the news and forget it in five minutes.

"Even if it is only the handful of people I meet on the street, or in my home, I can still protect them with this one sword" Kenshin Himura

Necessity is the mother of invention. If you're not ready, it's "a mother". If you are, it's "mom".

Yes it's chilling when it comes close to home - I was on Westminster bridge in January this year.

Agree with you wholeheartedly on the number of dead IR - This always really annoys me - The news reports 5 dead - Wrong  -

Four people were murdered, one in the line of duty  :salute:  Full stop

The deranged sub human who committed the murders was killed by the police preventing further lives being taken

Counting innocent lives along with a murder is not right.

The man believed to have carried out the attack in Westminster has been named by police as Khalid Masood.
Kent-born Masood, who died in the attack, was not the subject of any current police investigations, but had a range of previous convictions.
The 52-year-old was believed to have been living in the West Midlands.
The so-called Islamic State group has said it was behind the attack, in which PC Keith Palmer, Aysha Frade and US tourist Kurt Cochran were killed.
Eight arrests were made in London and Birmingham following Wednesday's attack.

Then again, what is a terrorist?

I don't care for the terms terrorist or terrorism, as they bring about false imagery of a hysterical, emasculated, helpless citizenry.  We are far from helpless in combating the cowardliness and lawlessness now called terrorism, and could do much more to eradicate them.  So I would prefer the term coward or murderer to terrorist.
