Just got this and I was expecting it to be in worse condition, but its actually not to bad. Any info on this knife would be appreciated. Age, Value, ect....  I am going to clean it up a bit and will get more pictures after I do. Here are the first impression pictures. Enjoy.   :D

Sorry I forgot to take pictures of the tang stamp.

Front: Wenger

Depending on condition, scales, missing toothpick, tools scratches?, if you'd post pictures with the tools opened, age 50s?, value $5.00?

I think that is a fantastic buy, I have not seen many saks with exposed rivets and that number of layers , as long as there are no broken tools I would say >$100

As far as age I am going to guess at 55-64 its much easier with vic's because of the can opener.

Hope the scissors are ok :)

Seems like the Wenger "We Don't Service Old Knives" policy puts a damper on their aftermarket value...

Yes, i believe that is one of the reasons.
Except if you lucky to find one in good condition, but then the price will be high. ;)

Well the scales look worn. The main blade and small blade have seen better days but they are definitely still usable. The file is well used, the rest of the tools look good though. I was testing the scissors and they still cut very well. I wish it cleaned up better in a few areas but honestly i'm very fond of the knife and all the tools are perfectly fine for use. Whats the possibility of a scale swap on this? Anyways here are the pictures.

What a nice and interesting SAK! Absolutely a great find.

If it would be mine I would keep these original scales on.

I'd put carbon fiber on the scales   I'll even put my modder hat back on for that one :o

While very tempting I think i'm siding with leaving the scales on. I really would love to take it apart so it can get properly cleaned and if I do so I will definitely get new scales put on. You will be the first to know if it happens.  :tu:

That's a handsome knife for sure.  It would make a fun EDC if it didn't set you back too much.  I get a kick out of getting use from a tool that's older than me.

Nice find.
