Just got my first Victorinox GAK

Hello there!
I just got a Victorinox GAK. A surplus store had 5 GAKs for about 12 dollars each. Everryones was pre-owned and most of them was in a terrible condition. But this one was just incredible dirty, filled with german gunk and the blade was dull. But I bought it and cleaned it and it turned out ok. The blade got supersharp after 20 minutes on the Sharpmaker. Now everything is in a very good condition, except for scratches on the blade.

This one must be pre-1985 since it lacks the file on the saw. A great EDC!



EDIT: Changed from DAK to GAK, sorry....

Yeah looks like a gak as I think the Dutch Army use too use vics soldier until more recently  :tu:

Nice knife! I always love rummaging through surplus stores, looking for bargains or interesting stuff.
