Looks like the Sp Ed Climber Gold that came out during the Q2 2016. As I remember it ran about $80-$95 and has traces of real gold. It definitely has a cool look, but I couldn't justify spending that much on a Climber.

I carried only the Classic SD for a few decades before discovering the Tinker. When I learned about the Super Tinker having scissors, I made that my primary carry. Finding out that the Compact had both blade and scissors all in 2 layers while adding a pen was a great discovery.  These days, I have caches of SAKs at various places in the house so I can enjoy some of my favorites while carrying a Compact in the pocket of my warm-ups.

My favourite (and first real SAK) was the Climber. The Compact can do the same, with less weight and size. I don't really use all of its features daily, but it's nice to know it's there if I need them.

I finally saw the commemorative SAK on e-bay for a memorable price. :)

Always nice to see something new from Victorinox! Obviously, the different scale types are meant to attract more sales (plenty of personal experiencing purchasing more of the same but with different scales). Meanwhile, I am really happy with scale variety.

They also have premium liners, so a bit thinner and heavier, nickel silver vs. aluminum. It really is a nice version!  :tu:

I know that MacGyver don't drink and nice pics everyone!! Makes my collection seems small

Well he does.. But he don't like it.. He also drinks a sip of wine in one episode (can't remember witch) but I does this funny face to show he does not like it.. But he do it to play a melody and opens a safe with diamonds

I finally saw the commemorative SAK on e-bay for a memorable price. :)

Always nice to see something new from Victorinox! Obviously, the different scale types are meant to attract more sales (plenty of personal experiencing purchasing more of the same but with different scales). Meanwhile, I am really happy with scale variety.
