The Bantam and I are getting some coastal time this weekend.

Nice! What kind of fish?

That one's a bluefish. Today I caught blues, pompano, sea robin's and one small shark. I watched an osprey dive down and snatch a pompano off of a guys hook and watched an 8' gator root around for breakfast.  It was a pretty good morning.here at Huntington Beach State Park.

Awesome, sounds like fun. My neighbor brings me pompano from Alabama the others I've never had.
All fresh water up here and no gators.

I'm carrying my Passenger today.  It's been a while and I forgot how great this old retired model is.  Why does it seem like all the good ones earn retired status?  The Yeoman and 84mm Golfer come to mind...

This one is somewhat unique with the plain celidor scales (no T&T), no keyring and the blade etch.  It's rather fitting for me as well because I work in electronics and buy a lot of Neutrik products.  You can't easily make out the etch on the back that says, "stolen from".  So, from back to front, it reads, "stolen from Neutrik AG"

Opened up the fridge and decided that the evening had a mustard, chili and onions kind of feel to it. The Bantam was the EDC of choice again today.

You have to admire the lightweight utility of the simple 84mm SAKs.

Thanks.  I guess you could say it's the predecessor to the Cybertool 29 (or S), but it's a layer slimmer due to the double width of the bit driver layer in the CT.

It's my grail SAK! I have only found a couple passengers for sale but for a higher price than I'm willing to pay so I have to wait.

Yours is beautiful

That looks great! That inscription is what I've thought about engraving in one of my tools: "stolen from pfrsantos".

I first saw something like that in a restaurante (Tasca do Celso). The plates and cups were made of ceramic and they awl had the same inscription: Stolen from Tasca do Celso. I just loved it!

Thank you!  :hatsoff:  It is a great model and I wish you the best of luck in finding one.  I'm fortunate that I started my collection years back when some of these retired models were easier and cheaper to obtain.  The second-hand SAK market was much different back then than what it is today and I don't envy collectors trying to find them.

Thanks. Normally I would shy away from buying a knife with a blade etch, but I didn't with this one in particular due to its meaning to me and the unique idea of the "stolen from" phrase.  I agree that it's a very cool idea!

Impressive.  Unique,  simple and potentially very versatile.   Your choice of bits determines what sort of tool you are carrying.  Please tell me you have a novel way of carrying bits.

Just the regular bits with the cybertool but I would love to take apart an xxl / xavt for the smaller torx and hex driver.

I've been carrying the Swisschamp these last few months. Sorry I haven't been too active, between doctor's appointments and physical therapy, I've been pretty tired out and busy. Next round of surgery scheduled for October, and hopefully things will be even better then. Just wanted to make a quick post to let everyone know that I'm still alive, I've been lurking these last few months and I'm glad to see everyone still active and doing well.
