I think you'll find most people far prefer dedicated tools for doing work... but those ones are never with me  :pok: When I did field work a few years ago I carried a backpack with dedicated tools, no multitools at all.

For me SAKs are all about being able to resolve on the go, or quicker than having to find and fetch other tools for short little tasks, with a device small enough to always have with you.

Lately I've been using the CyberTool 34/M as it has everything I need to work on my rimfire rifles and scopes for small game hunting season.  :salute:
This  :tu:
For me, an SAK isn’t a replacement or supplement to full size tools, it’s a convenience tool that’s always in pocket, ready to take on whatever the situation may call for. For that, it IS the proper tool. That’s just the practical side of things, the enjoyment I get out of carrying, using and collecting them is another can of worms  :climber:

Having just completed Nix's very enjoyable Go-Big Challenge I've swapped out today for my Syph007 Compleat Fisherman just for the sheer enjoyment of carrying it.

The Go Big Challenge was really good fun and proved that the SwissChamp is truly the one SAK everyone needs.

Mind you, you might never carry a different SAK again ...

A serrated, yellow Woodsman?  That's a great looking SAK.

Not far from it. It's a mod I did a woodsman minus scissors and with a serrated blade. Started out as an explorer with a saw from a camper

Nice duo! The Alox looks to be a DLT Trading exclusive (sadly, they don't show any Alox exclusive on their site anymore). Am I correct?

:like:  I also have a pair of newer (with the clear magnifier surround) black SwissChamps. It only took 30 years to make that dream a reality!
