That Rangerwood is a beauty! I bought one a while back when I saw one cheap - just a shame it has to be a stat at home knife for me in the UK…. Enjoy!

Today it was a combo carry of MC Alox and this Rangerwood that was an Xmas present from my lovely wife  :dd:

(Image removed from quote.)

Thank you Rizio
It’s a big knife- kind of like carrying around a fold up sword in the pocket- it’s wonderful.

Just curious, is there a law against carrying knives in Sweden?

Old adage - a knife less man is a lifeless man. :climber:

No offense intented, just seems a bit off having a SAK with no blade (except Jetsetter).

Today I brought my first Pioneer X. I bought it at the Victorinox store in Geneve during my honeymoon. I bought this part and a Climber. The Pioneer X has my wedding date engraved on the blade, which is why I rarely use it.

Regards!

There is, you can carry a multitool or pocket knife for "normal use", so for everyday carrying is alright but when drinking beer or going to a bar at night there is no "normal use" and can get you in trouble

I understand; sometimes brew and blades are a bad combination.

I asked as I am also collector of Nordic knives. I've a couple dozen early (pre 1950) Swedish fixed blades by various makers. Love the old Swedish laminated blades. Great steel. Sorry to see Morakniv basically eliminate them.

Today I’m carrying the Huntsman my lovely wife gave me for Christmas!

I’m really starting to understand why it’s such a popular model. You get a lot of tools for not a lot of weight.

Now it might need a Fieldmaster to keep it company… :D

The smurf with that I say.

Normal use is a bottle opener while at the bar?

Also what if I have to open a bag of chips??

That's one way of looking at it and I agree. If someone wants to bring a knife as a weapon they will do it anyway.. But I rather keep drinking beer and looking at the band instead of arguing with the guard of police and get thrown out

This guy right here! A Deluxe Tinker!

I normally carry a 2 or 3 layer SAK at most. The Deluxe Tinker is definitely on the heavy side for me and my insistence on loose pocket carry, but I've been trying to give some 4 layer SAKs another chance lately. The Huntsman will spoil you with its 4 layers but carry weight not that much above the Climber and has inspired me to carry my heavier SAKs!
