Butter blade is the only version for me. I don’t have much time for a MT that doesn’t have a serrated blade.

:iagree:

I wish Vic would do a SAK with the butter blade. If Spirits weren't so spenny I'd buy one just for the blade and do it myself

What exactly is the butter blade? Is it like the blade on the D of E or the My First SAK? With the rounded tip and not super sharp?

I hadn’t thought of that. A Pioneer plus butter blade, or with that instead of a plain blade, would rock.

I think the version of the Spirit with the butter blade is now discontinued. Damn shame.

It was only found on one variant of the Spirit. Very sharp and effective for cutting tough materials. Also cut half way through one of my thumbs once.

A Pioneer with the butter blade instead of the PE blade would rock so hard it would have to be called the Lemmy. 🤘

Damn right!

Motörhead was the first gig I ever went to. Bradford St George’s Hall, I think it would have been 1985. Zodiac Mindwarp & The Love Reaction supporting.

Both great bands!
Saw Motorhead at Reading uni years ago, and Zodiac Mindwarp twice - first time supporting Fields of the Nephilim and second time headlining in a club somewhere in Reading. Great bands all of them. Sounds like we have similar tastes in music and SAKs!

Necro comment!!

Lovely old gen 1 Bantam -
But you would think that that company would have had a Watch Case Opener as their promotional model.
