Thanks for the replies everyone.

My insurance did cover me, all but $700 which was my deductable plus my share of the new tires (don't get me started on that smurfing issue) I fully plan on following up with the trooper but as far as sueing goes I don't have the time or money to pursue it myself. I'm not giving up yet, but I might be screwes here.

What sucks is I DID ID her, and that should close the case but I guess her friend the car owner is giving her an alibi.
