A comparison of the Knipex Cobra XS, Leatherman Mini Tool, and Leatherman Skeletool for pairing with a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife. Do you agree?

Yes basically agree and carry all 3 combos (or very similar) at different times. I’m a big fan of the skeletool and is probably my most used PBMT

The cobra is great for its size and surprisingly versatile but prefer the needle point of a regular PBMT, so the mini probably wins there

The mini is of course long discontinued making it a good but unobtainable pick for many

Personally I can get by most of the time with either just a SAK or the skele and the rambler on my keychain, easily my most used SAK

The Juice CS4 is another great lightweight PBMT with a better tool selection than the skele and for the most part means I don’t need a larger SAK, but again discontinued

Thanks for the share

I usually carry PST2 and Ranger (or Huntsman) and i think PST2 covers most pliers jobs. I have Skeletool and it digs up easily on to my palm when using it so thats reason why i use it when i dont have anything else (Skeletool is on my EDC bag)

Farmer X and Skeletool cover most bases.
