Its one of my favorites in 91mm.  I've tried others yet I keep coming back to the Explorer.  The yellow lanyard one is my beater.  I am not afraid to go hard with it.  My ruby is one I work but no where near the other.  My newest will be set aside just in case I my beater gives up.

I feel the same way  about the Explorer; something about the tool set for me just keeps me coming back whenever I try a different model. I have one with red plus scales that I EDC and one with blue sapphire scales that is just for use at work. I do need to get a spare in case anything happens to the other two....

Carried my newest Explorer yesterday.  I've got one in a Skinth that is my beater which I dont hesitate to use on any and everything.  This newest one I'll abuse a little less  :D.  It'll be one I'll grab just because.  I was looking at my Wenger SI and thinking an Alox Explorer might be my ultimate SAK  :dunno:

Dear Victorinox, please make a 84 and 93mm Exloprer so I can make the determination which Explorer is best for me.  Please and thank you

That would be awesome! But you could always make one yourself?

Magnifier and alox works great together

Not an explorer but close (woodsaw instead of scissors)

I also bought the Christmas edition last year and I haven't carried another one since then. (Although I also carry the MiniChamp for the little file and stuff)
I love the way it looks and it has all the items I need. I love mine!!!
Here's my complete EDC.

Aloha, what Skinth model do you carry your Explorer in? I've been toying with the idea of getting one.

Mostly economics right now and the fact that I think the explorer is just a bit to thick for comfortable pocket carry. But I can still look at nice scales here on MTO

Hi.  I have an L and M Skinth.  Both are great.  I'll snap a pic and show how the Explorer fits.

Thanks for taking the time to post those pics after your long day! I think I might have to get Skinth now. An M for my Explorer and Huntsman and an L for my Swisschamp. Spending time on this forum sure can get expensive after a while.
