Do you watch "The Vampire Diaries" ???

Do you watch this show or have you watched it? Do you like it? Am I the only one who doesn't find it exceptional or extraordinary or in the least interesting? The whole world seems to be crazy about it, my best friend has been talking about nothing else but THIS for a year or so already. What the hell is wrong with me not to like it ??

I have never watched it.
But I have never really been tempted to watch it either, so Im betting you are not the only one who does not like it.
I bet your friend probably thinks you are bonkers because you talk about MT's and flashlights all the time... ( or are you one of those strange people who dont talk about MTs, knives and flashlights all the time ? )

lol, just... I have the feeling the smurfing show's started standing between us, so to say, during the past year.., I mean, ok, I get half the planet likes the actors, there are forums, blogs, whatnot, a whole new community devoted to this (like the EDC community, for example) and I have the feeling my friend's been "stolen" from me by some... fiction. So I was thinking... what could be wrong with me not to like the freakin show and how could I start liking it so that I go with the flow and "become interesting" again. Anyway, good that I'm not the only one, hehe. It brings some comfort, lol

No..... I'm not the show-type of person.... and she's as stubborn as a donkey when it comes to sth I offer for watching, lol. I guess my hope will be for the show to finally end and she gets some new, more normal ... obsessive hobby...

Like reading books?
A quick google search shows that the series is loosly based on a triology by L.J smith. If you read them and like them, then atleast you will have something to talk about. ( the books tends to be better than the tv shows and movies in my experince) 
The bad news is that he started writing on the series again In 2007, so the TVseries might continue for a long time...
