White/Red on coloured Alox is just .

Can't wait for my DK knives and the mods I'll do to them.

What do you say? A black Cadet with red/white shield and scissors? Held together by threaded pivots? I hear ya!

Some of those don't have keyrings.  I HATE that!  That's why I don't buy one of the new copper ones

Nice summary of the Alox shield anodizing variations.  Technically it sure looks like on the copper one they annodized the red background on top of an existing copper anodizing to produce that shade of red.  Basically just added more red to the base layer.

All good stuff, but I would disagree that the +B all one colored SAKs are HAIII.

I have a custom Farmer done by Scibeer with black hard anodized scales. They have more of a matte appearance than normal black alox knives.

That's the alox Farmer from 2005 and not a soldier.

You're right. +B Alox are not HAIII. It's seems Alox HAIII can not be done with the usual colors, but the HAIII colors are not so shiny as some guys here already mentioned.
I'll change this in my blog.  :salute:

Recently there was a paratrooper-green Farmer being sold. Looks like it was close to the earlier dark green.

Yes. It's close to the "all black tools" Pioneer and First Mate, just a bit brighter.
