Made a short video about my 60s Huntsman Small and tried to keep it humorous. Hold your own SAK.

I typically carry something large, like a Ranger, Handyman or SwissChamp, with a Cybertool Lite for when I'll be building PCs.

So the question today is - Should I travel light, or should I travel Lite?

Funny. Well if you are not out at night or looking behind the couch I don't think the Lite would be necessary but that's just me....

Funnily enough... I do both every evening. I walk the dogs, and I retrieve my toddlers' lost toys.
But necessity is secondary to 'I just want one'.

I'm not sure it was worth the $10 premium over the non branded one, but what the heck. It was gift card money!

That's correct. The black thing is just a piece of heat shrink tube. It's there to protect the tinder. Something I picked up from a Felix Immler video on Youtube. Seems to work surprisingly well.

I'm a Red SAK guy but the wood ones are beautiful !  :salute:
Oops forgot about my yellow + well, can't have too many SAKs!!

It's about time I joined this club!

Here's mine. It's a 90s era model I picked up off eBay for a reasonable price.

Unfortunately, the corkscrew is a little bent which kind of bothers me. But I like this model and tool set enough I'm seriously considering buying a brand new one.

Welcome to the club.  :hatsoff:

Still one of my favourite SAKs and one of the very last I'd ever let go of.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

I got this several years back at a Target store.  It came with the little case.  For some reason I never used it much.

The only walnut scale I have in my SAKs........this Huntsman sits in my foraging pack so has regular use whether it is the knife or scissor to liberate a foraged fruit or the hook to carry bundles of nettles. The scales are regularly beeswaxed to maintain the beautiful detail of the walnut....... :)

Beautiful Huntsman! I have never been a fan of wood scales, but lately, I have seen quite a few, and they are really growing on me. Might have to add one to my collection

Everybody seems to be having fun, so I will post a photo.  Black Huntsman.  I like the toolset on these things, and they carry well too.  Best wishes.  G

I love the black! Once my red scales need replacing, I will go with black. I'd carry a Hunstman every day but as a teacher, I don't have a use for the saw at work so I end up with a Climber or Super Tinker on my pocket instead. A Huntsman goes in my pocket on the weekends especially during the fall.
