Interesting video,.
This is very true since in my research i discovered this - how Victorinox is the worlds most professional also here.
It is a very vital part of the company philosophies with the protection for the environment.

To recycle everything and to filter the air, is just a few steps the company have made there is much more.

I mentioned before on the use of very old machinery in the production. Machines that would be outdated if not for Victorinox.

The workers also got airconditioned works space  :)

I had no idea how worried about the environment they are, thats why I thought that would be a interesting video to share.

The thought that a SAK has the same carbon footprint as making toast is incredible.

I am a big fan of Victorinox. My main kitchen knife is victorinox. My main full-size MT is a Spirit X, and I have an ever-growing collection of their SAKs. Setting aside their quality products, it's nice to know they are looking at sustainability issues, and the most efficient use of their waste-heat. Very, VERY cool.

The part with the small carbon footprint is largely due to the use of electricity from waterdriven power plants, otherwise this would be virtually impossible...

Still, I'm also impressed what they accomplish :salute:
No need for a guilty conscience about the environment when buying a SAK :climber:
