I like black with brass. I was wondering what every else liked.

Instead of colored plastic, I'd go with oak. A very traditional pairing for scientific and nautical tools.

I voted red as well but just about every colour looks better with brass  :tu:

  Voted for Emerald myself, as it would be darker and less common. Wonder why no one makes metal flake scales?

Brass goes with everything. Alox with Brass reminds me of Silver with Gold so I'd prefer that luxurious combination.

On my alox jobs I love red and brass so I voted red.  Black is a close second though.

Wood would definitely be awesome but I voted Silvertech as that would also look pretty sweet  8).
- Or was I too preoccupied with other thoughts, like: if toast always lands jam side down, and a cat always lands on its feet, what happens when you strap a piece of toast, jam side up, to the back of a cat?

I voted black here because is about plastic.

What I'd prefer:

Plastic: black
Alox: red
Wood: brown (redwood, oak, etc)

Brrr....brass and plastic sounds awefull to me.

I like brass with scales from natural materials the best. With a nice nickelsilver shield on top.

Red alox and brass is a classic for sure.
