Are Leatherman tools Australian?

I would consider the test results just plain wrong, but that's JMO.

The website domain has a ".au" at the end, so I assume it's Aussie.

Well, I think they were sitting at a pub somewhere during a rain shower after one of their tests. Not sure when that pub closes, but they should be by any time now. ;)

Gotta say though that their testing was quite extensive. Look at their "durability" test for instance:

Durability

To assess durability we clamped one handle of the tool in a vice and applied a sideways twisting force to the other handle 5000 times.

Depending on the extent of damage or distortion to the handles and/or jaws, we gave the multitools ratings from excellent to very poor.

5000 times?! This test must have went on for months!
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Your browser probablly has built in upside down upside downing. I always had to turn my laptop when reading Aussie websites before Firefox 3 beta.

Hmm. That's Choice magazine. It's an Australian mag that promotes itself as providing unbiased reviews on pretty much everything, from cars to computers to kid's toys. Note that the Wave they're talking about is the old model.
