I'm not sure about the tough chip having better scissors. They are bigger, but my brother damaged the edge of the scissors on his tough chip when cutting a clampack package. I've never had a micra do that.

Well the tough chip was 3 usd don't know if that was what price was suppose to be but thats what the woman at register gave it to me for. The other was a Schrade Tough Tool but I am not sure which model but it was 7 usd not to bad but I was trying to refrain myself.
Just wondering having bought the Schrade Tough Chip at Big Lots for 3 usd was pleasantely suprised at how well it works. ....
Were these tools USA made?
"Tank like feeling"? I always thought the Micra felt a little flimsy actually. I haven't had any problems with it though saying that.
