...make my ideal SAK?
Start with Vic Tinker or Wenger Highlander.
1. Add alox scales for a thinner overall SAK.
2. Add a pocket clip.
3. Change the main blade to a smaller version of the OHT or Ranger blade.
This would be a nice thin, lightweight SAK suitable for clipped pocket carry, but it would offer quick and easy One-Hand access to its main blade. It would still have all the implements and functionality of a regular Tinker or Highlander.
The main blade could also be locking - or not locking. A locking blade isn't that important to me on a small pocket knife. However, a One-Hand-Opening main blade and clipped pocket carry are VERY important.
That wouldn't be so hard, would it? Could be done with mostly off the shelf parts.
If Vic or Wenger won't do this, then perhaps Gerber, CRKT, or Buck might make something similar to this?
