Wenger serrated blade? Uh??
on: December 09, 2013, 11:05:43 PM
Well, curiously enough, I've spent almost the entire day searching for an 85mm with serrated main blade. I know now the Backpacker and S585 contained such an item, but can't find either.

What other models did/does wenger have in production that uses the serrated main blade??

Links would be good  ;)
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

Here are a few. :D

Alpine Backpacker http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Alpine+Backpacker
Backpacker Serrated http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Backpacker
Journeyman Serrated http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Journeyman
Master Serrated http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Master
Outdoorsman http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Wenger+Outdoorsman
Survivor http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Survivor
Teton Serrated http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Teton
Tool Chest Serrated http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Wenger+Serrated+Tool+Chest

I think the Master should be the easiest to find from the "fatties" as I know there were some fairly cheap about a year ago. Maybe there are still a few floating around.

I've never had a Teton.
I do have both the Survivor and Matterhorn, which if I'm not mistaken both have serrated main blades

However, I really do fancy that Toolchest with serrated blade , but I'm guessing I'd have more luck finding the lost Ark!
Still, something to aspire too  :dd: the Toolchest that is

I've been carrying a serrated backpacker a lot this winter.

I've been pushing it way over its limits and it keeps coming back for more.

concrete will dull the blade but its not hard to fix edge damage on Wengers steel.

There is also the Serrated Cyclist

I came across the Toolchest Serrated by pure luck, but if I remember correctly ColoSwiss confirmed that it is actually a rare model.
